You will be unable to book your tickets at the venue itself. Pre-purchase your Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest experience tickets online before heading down to the venue.
The best way to reach here would be to drive down by yourself in a car or get a taxi service. While public transportation is available, it’s also scarce with much walking involved. However, if this is your preference, you can take buses 781 or 788 from Melbourne to reach the venue.
While bookings are made in slots and only a few people are allowed to enter the trail at once, you won’t be clubbed with any other group. You can continue to explore the trail by yourself and take as much time as you need.
The trail usually takes 45 to 90 minutes to complete. However, there isn’t a limit on how long you can spend on the trail.
While it’s possible to make an accommodation in another slot that isn’t completely booked, we can’t guarantee that you will be given entry even if you’re late. We suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the slot mentioned on your ticket to ensure entry.
Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest was created as an all-ages experience. However, some elements may seem spooky or scary to some people. If you’re feeling too anxious to proceed, you can approach one of the staff members to help you out.
The trail will be illuminated by several lights along the trail. There may also be some flashing lights at certain exhibits, so we advise anyone sensitive to strobe lights to proceed with discretion.
While it is recommended that you watch these movies to understand some contextual elements in the trail, it’s not an obligation. Even if this is your first magical experience, we suggest you indulge in it without hesitation. You can always go back and watch the movies later.
It’s not a necessity for you to own a magic wand before trying this experience. If you have one, definitely bring it along. You can always purchase a wand at the gift shop too.
