Excellent customer service Commentary was good and gave account of the history of Melbourne and Yara river Historical monuments and nice nature
Informative journey upstream, but disappointing that we couldn't go downstream because of tidal issues . However, half the costs were refunded with very little hassle.
We booked the 2hr river cruise but we the boat only went one way due to the high tide. We therefore only got a 1 hr cruise.
The experience on Yarra river was good. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable and we had a two hour tour ticket but after an hour there was hardly any instructions what to do next.
It was a very interesting tour with a good commentary. I really enjoyed it and loved seeing a side of Melbourne I'd never seen before. My criticism was that the refreshments served were pretty ordinary. Don't bother providing tea and coffee if the water isn't hot.
We loved learning about the history of different parts of the Yarra,it was very informative.Loved our female skipper, she was amazing to watch how she manoeuvred the boat into various places and we loved her commentary, she was witty !!!
It was enjoyable. We opted for the upstream and downstream tours. There was a half hour break between the two and the boat returns to the pickup point between them for the half hour and we needed to disembark for the duration of the break. There is a toilet on board and the seats are relatively comfy. Unfortunately the rain came down during the downstream tour so we couldn't get any good photos as the windows were covered in droplets but, that's Melbournes weather. All in all it was an enjoyable ride and we got to see Melbourne from a different perspective.
Enjoyed the cruise. However due to high tide only could one way for 1 hour. Manager said has out request through for partial refund to headout. Expecting this back
We loved seeing the beautiful buildings and sites from the water view. The boat stopped halfway to pick up and drop off passengers. The entire ride on the boat was less than 2 hours.
Nice weather great crew commentary

Bert friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent food and almost too much to drink.
Very relaxing. Nice food No problem booking with headout
We booked this tour as we had done the longer night version before and loved it and we had our friend from Germany visiting. The food, drinks and service were great though we went up the river 30 minutes and came back and did that twice so my friend really didn't get to see anything which was disappointing.
We had a lovely afternoon. The crew were all fantastic at their jobs. The food was lovely and the drinks were great. I would like to mention that one of your male crew did a fabulous job of dealing with a very arrogant, rude and pretentious women who felt she should have a window seat. Her behaviour and the way she spoke to him when she did not get what she wanted was disgracfull.
The food and wine was great, truly bottomless!! Coffee at the end was excellent and I am a hard marker :)

Was nice scenery. Not cramped at all. Just wished the commentary was there like it was meant to be. Would have been good to have been told something.
The boat was in good condition, clean etc and staff helpfull with drinks etc but there was NO engagement with the passengers. We got a very brief welcome and not a word more, nothing about where we were going, or any commentry about the harbour and Yarra river , just silence! I havent done many of these but the on the occasion I have there was some commentry. Regards Neal Still
I thought there would be a bar on board - there wasn't (that's why i booked the tour) and i thought the bought would be bigger - i understand that one it was a small crowd but nevertheless would've felt really fancy being on a big boat with not many people
We paid $60 per head, too much, No narrator to tell us what place are we! all the building sorounds us, what was that. Also the crew did not even offer to get us a group photos. No narrator at all
The sunset, the view, the boat, the capitain
Excellent tour. Highly recommended. Favio was very friendly and showed great knowledge of the city.

The Churchill heritage farm is beautifull and I thoroughly enjoyed the time. The penguin experience was very crowded and not enjoyable for me and the five koalas at the park seem happy enough but sad how they are only allowed on certain trees near the boardwalk must be noisy for them and the poor penguins but this is conservation apparently
Ticketing was easy to follow and information and maps for the three activities were good. The staff at all three were really helpful, pleasant and made the experiences fun. It was fun getting close to the animals at Churchill Island and the highlight was milking the cow. Walking around the koala reserve and again getting to see them up close was special. The highlight of the afternoon was the penguin parade, particularly getting to see them as they went to their burrows, from the boardwalk. We all agreed that we had a great day. We self drove.
Loved every bit of Churchill island and the activities they host and the penguin parade is soo cute.
Spending time as a family is always a winner Phillip island is a welcoming place great food the experiences allowed us to get up and personal with the animals

Had a great time. Needing an app for the tickets was a bit of a pain, but luckily all the staff at the three parks were very helpful and understanding about our not wanting the hassle.
I thought the place was bigger and had more activities.. it is beautiful but I expected more. Also the staff was not friendly at the entrance and in the cafe .
Excellent experience with knowledge guiders
We enjoyed the penguin parade and the staff were so helpful and polite.
It has been an overall positive experience and we're so glad we did the tour.
The koala conservation reserve was fantastic! Staff was very friendly and eager to answer questions my group had.
Loved the closeness with farm animals

An all day tour went so quickly as James C our driver and tour guide was fantastic. Good driver and good historian. Got lots of info about Australia and Melbourne and Victoria. Tour bus comfortable and interesting group of co travellers. Loved all four of our stops. The stops also broke up the bus travel and just loved the penguin parade plus bandicoots, geese, wallabies and a possum who all showed up for the parade too. We will book with Go West again next time in Melbourne perhaps for the great ocean road tour.
Great guide with Bluey giving us lots of information along the way and when we got there the best places to see the penguins. A must see trip.
Ticketing went very smoothly .Chris our guide ,was very informative about the areas we visited and gave excellent advice on how to get the best out of our visit to the penguin habitat. Chris is full of life and entertained us and made sure even the children on board a fun experience. A wonderful afternoon and evening
Nice trip, we have lots of fun.
Our Guide and Diver Camile was very helpful, Hard a very good nowlegde and was so Kind and friendly!
Tour guide Bill is awesome!!! He's kind and caring
Over all excellent tour and guide is very good
Bob at the pinguin parade was great. The whole bus went to business class
Good half day your. Bluey, our guide was entertaining and full of useful information
Great half day trip, Frank was knowledgeable about Australian history and landmarks in the area. Excellent playlist and safe driver
Suggest remove Nobbies from itinerary to allow adequate time at penguin centre. Not enough time to eat, toilet, read info etc. Sone guests only want to see the penguins but I couldn't find any tour options for just penguins. Pre check vehicle filters to avoid half hour loss of time on side of road for guests, avoidable issue that really impacted enjoyment. Tour guide Bluey was helpful and entertaining. Further time lost with explaining tips (while very welcome and valuable information) on side of road could have been sent in advance by email or explained while driving.
The experience was made great by the tour guide. Your company sent confusing instructions with different meet times and the bus does not stop on Flinders St. I will book directly with the tour company next time.
Loved to see the penguins so close. Amazed to see other fauna like the geese and wallabies. Our tour guide "Bluey" was very entertaining and informative.
I booked the trip one day before the trip, then just 5 minutes after I found another better longer trip. But I can't cancel this trip online. It´s a loss of money.

Did this solo and had a blast. The group was friendly and the guide Ann was super energetic. The views are just out of this world. Bit windy but nothing a hoodie can’t fix.
Went with my partner and honestly, the drive was LONG but never boring. Our guide (think his name was Chris?) had stories for daaays—like, you end up remembering random facts about shipwrecks and why the trees lean so weird here. Saw koalas sleeping in the crook of branches and a kangaroo that totally ignored us (mood). Weather was chilly but clear and we lucked out with the light at the Twelve Apostles—looked EPIC for photos! Only complaint: lunch options were a bit basic, but can’t really complain when ur eating with that view.
Such a great tour! Our guide, Chris, made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. The wildlife spotting was a highlight for my kids. Would recommend for families.
Booked last min and so glad I did. Saw the Apostles with no big crowds. Guide was a legend, showed us koalas AND kangaroos. Bring a windbreaker, it gets cold on the cliffs!
Took the reverse route and wow, barely any crowds at the big spots! Our guide (Mark?) pointed out all these tiny details along the way—like the old post office and the weird rock formations people usually miss. Food at Apollo Bay was simple but tasty. Weather changed every hour (classic), so pack a jacket. Would recommend this for families—my kids were obsessed with the parrots and kangaroos.
Tour was great! Guide pointed out all the best spots for photos and wildlife. Rain made the rainforest walk kinda magical.
Super early start but worth dragging myself outta bed for. The group was pretty chill, like 12 ppl. The guide, Barb, was kinda hilarious and knew her stuff. We spotted 3 koalas (one had a baby!) and a heap of parrots. Only thing—wish we’d stopped for coffee sooner, was half asleep for the first hour lol. Rain hit for a bit but the cliffs looked wiiiild with the clouds anyway. Would go again, maybe pack snacks next time.
Went with my partner and we both loved it. The coastal drive is STUNNING, and the rainforest feels like another world. Our guide, Mark, was super chill. Bit of rain but it actually made the views better. Bring snacks!
Weather was a bit dodgy (drizzled half the time) but I still had a blast. The guide kept spirits up, told some wild stories about shipwrecks and magpies (still scared of those birds). Saw a kangaroo in the wild for the first time. Only wish we got more time at the bakery stop—line was massive. Still, scenery was UNREAL.
So so glad we took this tour. The guide (Ann) was super friendly and knew all the secret spots. Got amazing photos and saw kangaroos for the first time!
Just did the Great Ocean Road tour with my two sisters and still buzzing tbh. The guide, Jimmy, kept us laughing all day and didn’t rush us at any of the stops. I got about 100 pics of the Apostles (you can’t not). Loved the rainforest walk—smells like eucalyptus and felt suuuper peaceful. We even got lucky and saw an echidna waddling across the path. Only bummer was the bus seats aren’t built for tall folks (my knees were jammed). Otherwise, def worth it!
Family of 4 (kids 9 and 14) and honestly, everyone was happy. The bus was comfy, guide (Ann) had snacks and games for the kids, and we got to see koalas up close—highlight for my younger one. Lunch was quick but tasty. The cliffs are insane. Would totally do again!
Did this with my bestie and we were both blown away. The reverse route is genius—barely any crowds. Got AMAZING photos, and the guide (Jimmy) even took some for us. Wildlife spotting was super fun. Bring layers, it gets windy!
Did this tour with my girlfriend. Views are next level, but it is a long day of driving. The guide was great and the stops were well spaced. Bring a good camera!
The trip was great, but be ready for a loooot of time on the bus. Wildlife spotting was a highlight—not every day you see a wild koala! Our guide was knowledgeable and patient with our group.
Hmmm, mixed feelings. The day was packed, maybe TOO packed? Felt like we were always on the move. Some sights—like the Loch Ard Gorge—are honestly magical, but I coulda used an extra 30 mins to just sit and stare. Guide was polite but not as chatty as I hoped. Saw wildlife tho, and my teens loved the rainforest bit. Not bad, just not mind-blowing.
Honestly, I didn’t expect to be so impressed. The guide (Ann) had the BEST facts about the area and found us three koalas. My partner loved the history bits. Super long day but never boring.
Long day but worth it. Saw koalas and kangaroos (yay!), and the guide had some good stories. Lunch was a bit meh but ok. Loved the forest walk best.
Loved every minute! Saw so much wildlife and the views are INSANE. Our guide Jimmy was a legend—funny and super knowledgeable. Would do again for sure.
Totally recommend for anyone who wants to see the coast without driving. The guide, Chris, knew all the best stops. Got lucky with the weather and saw loads of parrots. Bit rushed at lunch, but minor issue overall.
Took my mum and she’s STILL talking about the rainforest walk. The guide kept it fun and not too cheesy, which I appreciate. Saw a couple of kangaroos up close. Weather held up, which was a win.
Went solo bc my friend bailed last min, but didn’t feel out of place at all. People on the bus were friendly and the guide made sure everyone got their photos. Best part was the rainforest—sooo lush and green. The coastal views are next-level, especially at sunset. It’s a long day tho. Bring headphones for the drive back.
One of the best tours I’ve done in Australia. The guide was super into local history and made even the bus ride cool. We saw dolphins out at sea too!! Bit chilly on the coast, so bring a warm jacket.
Such a great way to see the Great Ocean Road! Our group was small, the guide made everyone feel welcome, and we saw so many animals. The highlight was definitely the Twelve Apostles. Would recommend to anyone.
The scenery was great but be ready for a loooong day on the bus. Stops were nice though and guide tried to keep everyone happy. Bring snacks.
Reverse the route. Fewer crowds, better light.

Impressive view from the 88th floor of the Eureka, you can see the whole city. A visit not to be missed by anyone passing through Melbourne. You can also buy souvenirs of your visit. I bought our tickets through Headout which allowed us immediate entry, you just have to show the QR at the entrance.

Our driver/guid, Mr Ben, took great care of us, making our trip nice and quite educational. Thank you for the beautiful ocean sights, amazing rainforest walk, and these super-furry cuties - coalas!
